Top IT Companies in Bangalore for Freshers

Top IT Companies in Bangalore for Freshers

Lets CodeApril 19, 2026

Every year, lakhs of students graduate and apply to the same companies. TCS. Infosys. Google. Amazon.

Most of them send hundreds of applications and hear nothing back. Then they assume the market is bad.

It isn’t. The real problem is simpler:

Most people apply before they’re ready.

This guide fixes that. You’ll find a roadmap to get job-ready, the free tools to get there faster, and 100+ companies with direct career links to apply to once you are.

Before You Apply, Know Where You Stand

Most freshers jump straight to applying. That’s the mistake.

Start by figuring out what’s actually missing. Let’s Code has a free Job Ready Score that looks at your resume, LinkedIn, and GitHub and gives you a score out of 100 with a clear action plan. Takes a few minutes and tells you exactly where to focus.

Getting Job-Ready: What Actually Matters

There’s no shortage of advice on what to learn. The problem is knowing what order to do it in and what’s actually worth your time.

Here’s what works.

Start with the Basics (Weeks 1–3)

Pick up HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the frontend side. Choose one backend — Node.js, Java, or Python — and stick with it. Learn Git and GitHub. These aren’t optional extras; every company expects them.

By the end of week three, you should have one basic full-stack project pushed to GitHub. Nothing fancy. Just something real that you built yourself.

The Let’s Code DSA Roadmap covers all of this with step-by-step paths for DSA, System Design, React, Backend, DevOps, and ML/AI — all free.

Build Projects That Look Real (Weeks 3–6)

A todo app won’t get you hired. Build something that looks like an actual product — a SaaS-style tool, a working backend API with authentication, or a portfolio site with deployed projects.

If you’re stuck on what to build, the Final Year Project Ideas guide on Let’s Code has project ideas that actually come up in interviews.

Do DSA Consistently (Throughout)

Every product company runs a DSA round. There’s no way around it.

Aim for 150 to 300 problems. Focus on arrays, strings, trees, graphs, and dynamic programming. The key is doing a few problems every day rather than cramming.

For company-specific prep, use the previous year questions directly:

The 100 Days DSA Challenge on Let’s Code is worth joining if you want structure and accountability.

Practice Interviews Before the Real Thing (Weeks 6–10)

Reading theory and actually answering questions under pressure are completely different. Most people only find this out during their first real interview.

Use the AI Mock Interview on Let’s Code to practice across 35+ topics before that happens — DSA, DBMS, OS, aptitude, and more.

For topic-specific prep:

Go Deep on One Specialisation (Weeks 8–12)

Generalists get filtered out. Pick one track and get genuinely good at it.

Fix Your Resume and LinkedIn Before You Apply (Weeks 10–12)

Let’s Code has six free AI tools that handle this end to end:

How to Apply Without Wasting Your Time

Apply to 20 to 30 roles a day and track everything in a spreadsheet — company name, date applied, role, and current status. It sounds tedious but it’s the only way to stay on top of follow-ups.

Use both LinkedIn and company career portals. A lot of openings don’t show up on one or the other.

Referrals matter more than most people think. A referred resume gets looked at. A cold application often doesn’t. Reach out to alumni working at companies you’re targeting. The Cold Email Templates on Let’s Code make that easier without sounding desperate.

Before any interview, read through Let’s Code Interview Experiences for that company. Real accounts from people who’ve been through the same process recently are more useful than any generic prep guide.

The Placement Kit has everything else — resume guide, cover letter formats, cold email templates, and more.

One Line to Remember

Don’t just apply. Become someone companies want to hire.
