Quantiphi - Data Science Intern
Interview Process
Technical Round
July 15, 2024This round lasted around 45–50 minutes. The interviewer asked me questions mostly around AI/ML concepts and my projects. I had to explain my project work in detail, including how I selected algorithms, the challenges I faced, and how I solved them. Apart from that, a few situation-based questions were asked to test my problem-solving skills in real-life scenarios. Some basic Python coding questions were also included. The focus was more on my approach and clarity of concepts rather than just getting the exact answer.
HR Round
July 18, 2024The HR round went on for about 30–40 minutes. It was more of a conversation where they wanted to understand my behavioral skills and cultural fit. I was asked about my strengths, weaknesses, teamwork experience, and career goals. The HR also tried to see how I handle challenges and whether I align with Quantiphi’s values and work environment. This round was less technical but equally important because it checked my communication skills and confidence.
Detailed Experience & Tips
Overall, my interview experience with Quantiphi was a mix of technical depth and personal assessment. The technical round tested my knowledge in AI/ML and coding, while the HR round looked at my personality, soft skills, and long-term goals.
I would rate the difficulty level as medium. It wasn’t just about giving the correct answers, but about explaining concepts clearly, showing logical thinking, and being confident.
For preparation, I revised machine learning concepts, practiced coding on LeetCode, and went through resources like GeeksforGeeks and Kaggle. I also took help from mock interviews and mentorship sessions on Preplaced, which really boosted my confidence.
My biggest takeaway is that for MNCs like Quantiphi, you need to balance both technical knowledge and communication skills. Projects, coding practice, and confidence in explaining your thought process go a long way in standing out.
